How to rent from Angelica Debiase
So you’ve found the dress. It’s going to rock the party. Yes! – So, now what? It’s as easy as 1,2,3…
1. Fill out the rental form.
We’ll need to get a little bit of info from you. One of our lovely associates will provide you with a form, or you can fill one out online. Think of it like a friend’s closet, you wouldn’t borrow clothes from a friend you didn’t know. Right? So, let’s become friends. We’ll just need your name, email address and phone number. (We don’t have to be best friends, don’t worry.)
Now, hopefully you weren’t expecting to take the dress with you right away. Unless it’s an extreme—my wedding dress was just eaten by my dog and they’re expecting me at the altar in 20—situation, we would prefer to have the garment sent to the dry cleaners first to ensure its nearly new quality. So, you will schedule a date and time to pick up the rental, when it’s all bright and shiny. Oh, and while you’re at it go ahead and schedule a date and time for you to drop it off.
2. Pick it up and pay.
It’s the big day! Your party, photo shoot, wedding… has arrived, and you’re ready to pick up your fabulous piece. When you come in to the store we will go through the garment together for quality assurance, and discuss what might happen if you bring it back in less than perfect condition. This is the not-so-warm-and-fuzzy feeling stuff, but everything has a price. Normal wear and tear is expected (trust us, we’ve worn clothes before), but if something happens so that the garment is beyond reasonable repair you will be responsible for the full price. I know, ick! But you won’t have to worry, because as our new friend we know you will take great care.
3. Drop it off.
We don’t care what you look like the day after—hungover, cross eyed, hugging your cup of coffee for dear life—just as long as you return the garment the same way you borrowed it. Together we will go back through the garment. Then send you on your way, waving and hugging like new friends do.
